About Us

Supporting the emotional, spiritual, financial, health, and well-being needs by providing assistance when it is needed most. We focus on developing skills for the younger generation and offer support to the older generation. Additionally, we provide financial aid in times of crisis through our Community Benevolent Fund.

Engage and educate the community through social events and activities. Recognise, celebrate, and honour the Windrush Generation and their Descendants during the annual fundraising gala, as well as through other legacy and remembrance activities.

We will strengthen our efforts by partnering with local and national organisations to raise awareness, provide information, combine resources, and address a wide range of needs. 

Ensure the voice of our community is included and heard. We must understand the community's needs and communicate them to local and national government bodies, promote social justice, and take our responsibility towards the environment seriously.

Engage with local and national organisations to secure funding that supports our goals and charitable aspirations, alongside our own fundraising initiatives, to fulfil the mission of the Long Eaton Settlers Legacy Association.
